There are many Churches who run there own independent Sunday schools and youth groups.

This page is about what our circuit children’s worker Naomi does throughout the circuit.

A bit About Naomi

I have been the children’s worker for the circuit since 2007, and I absolutely love my job. I work across the circuit in various churches to support them with after school clubs and holiday clubs, and to teach Sunday school.

My main working week finds me in

  • X-CITE – Norton St. John’s Methodist Church, Tuesday nights 5.30 – 7 pm – we play games, and do lots of crafts, and study the bible every week here.  This group is aimed at children in primary school
  • THE ZONE – Ball Green Methodist Church – Wednesday nights 5.15 – 6.45 pm – It is a boys only club, for boys in primary school. We are fortunate enough to have a computer suite in the premises, so we use these for a portion of the evening. We also lay out games like table football and air hockey . We have some games nights, do crafts, make food, watch dvds. We have a really fun time here.

Once a month I run a circuit wide youth group for young people in high school. It is about studying the bible further, looking at topics that they may not look into in as much depth in Sunday school, a time to help prepare our teenagers for the next step in their lives. A time of close friendship and fun.

We would love more teenagers to come along and share this time further.
