Brown Edge Methodist Church operates from two premises in Brown Edge.
The building on the top of the hill in Chapel Lane is 920 feet above sea level overlooking the Staffordshire Potteries.
The other premise is at the bottom of the hill in Sandy Lane opposite the entrance to Keith’s car park.
We are a community based church.
On the first Sunday of the month at 11.00 the church holds a Multi Media service designed to be family friendly. This is held at our Sandy lane site as is ‘J’ Gang a weekly event for primary school children each Wednesday.
In the premises at the top of the hill every third Sunday a family worship is conducted at 11.00am. Also in this premise each Tuesday there is a Fellowship meeting that is supported by people from other denominations and from outside the village. This meeting is at 7.30pm.
An evening service will be held at 6.00pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month at Sandy Lane and the 4th Sunday at Hill Top.
We are playing an active role in the ‘Churches in Brown Edge’ Group.
Our Sandy Lane premise is used for many community projects administered by the Sandy Lane Centre who lease the property.
Our message is “God loves us all and all are very welcome at our church”
