Circuit Stewards

Ms H Snashall

Helen moved to the area in 2016 to take up the role of Community Development Manager for a local charity which has links to the Methodist Church at Fegg Hayes, where she is now a member.  She is also currently studying for a degree in Contextual Theology and Community Work.  She misses living by the sea but enjoys exploring the open spaces in and around Stoke on Trent.

Mr I Websell,

Although not a native of Stoke Ian grew up in the city and has worked for a number of companies within it over the years.  A very active Squash player he always has a ready supply of chocolate and is always ready to rustle up a barbecue. He still cycles and is a lover of formula 1.   He can turn his hand to all sorts of practical tasks which made him the ideal choice for the person who has oversight of property and manses.  Ian is married to Ang and they belong to the congregation in Milton.

Mrs E Scott

Enid was born in Chell and with her family the Methodist Church has always been very important to her.  She transferred from Trinity, Northwood, following their closure to Norton Church in 2015 and was appointed as Circuit Steward in 2015.  Enid loves music of all kinds, and enjoys the new ‘Singing the Faith’ book and playing the organ and piano.  She was a Clerical/Admin Officer with the NHS for 25 years.

Mr Paul Owen

Paul is married with one son and one grandson.  After 40 years in Public Service with the City of Stoke on Trent and then Staffordshire County Council he took early retirement in 2004.  A member of the Methodist Church for over 50 years, accredited as a Local Preacher in 1974 and remains a very active Local Preacher on the Circuit.  Serving as a Lay Pastor in the Circuit since 2005, holding pastoral oversight for two Churches until 2017 but still continues to be an  active member of the Circuit Staff team.  Appointed a Circuit Steward in 2017.
